During my photo shoot, I wanted to try out a variety of looks but the one I really wanted to go was to a dark place, probably a refection of me.

My makeup artist, Debbie, wanted to do it last as it was easier to apply the makeup that way. So in collaboration with the amazing stylist Lucy we came up with this initial look.

Personally, this is very exciting, it’s the beginning of so much more as we all learn how to work with each other and as I learn how to shoot these type of photographs in a studio environment.  It is my intention to go lighter and darker in my next fashion shoot. I have plans to go much edgier and perhaps even to provoke a little bit! We shall see but whatever it turns out I am so looking forward to it!

With the help of my makeup artist Debbie Cunningham and my Stylist Lucy Galsworthy we all worked hard to find something that really clicked. We all had a great time finding new ways of working together. It was so important to me that everyone had a voice and that everyone’s ideas was heard.

Through an amazing journey of experimentation we came up with this look for our model Scarlett Vincent.

Trust me when I say Scarlett has alot of potential as a model. Just look at her in this photo and you’ll just know what I mean. Shot a in Southcourt Studios in Aylesbury, this is just the latest in my fashion photoshoots.

As any SLR user will confess, there is a friendly rivalry between Nikon and Ca… ca…. (oh, I just can’t say that word on my blog). Anyway, I asked my model to hold up my backup Nikon D300 camera just for fun.

This is Joe. One of the most natural people I know infront of the camera. He says it takes him a short while to get comfortable infront of the camera but he’s always quite sharply dressed!

With a bit of Adobe Photoshop Magic I composited this photograph of Joe as part of my Commercial Photography collection. I hope you like it! I’m sure the ladies might..
